6th Mar 2021
Under the current circumstances, we have decided to run the Cambridge meeting virtually on
19-20th May 2021.
Although it is a real disappointment that we cannot meet in person, we remain committed to provide an excellent educational meeting for our members and the wider radiology community. The virtual content has therefore remained very comprehensive and similar to the original programme, featuring live interactive panel discussions during each session.
We will also be introducing ‘Case of the Day’ for additional CPD points and 3 industry symposia covering hot topics.
Registration will go live during the week commencing 15th March and fees have been further discounted to reflect the virtual format. The recorded content and poster presentations will also remain ‘on demand’ for 3 months, providing members a valuable educational resource and excellent value for money.
Prostate mpMRI Workshops
The intermediate (morning) and advanced (afternoon) workshops will both be delivered virtually on Tuesday 18th May with practical hands-on review of cases via the RAIQC online tool, with cases available to review both before and for a period after the workshops.
Gynae MRI Workshop
This will be rescheduled later in the year when we hope a face-to-face meeting will be possible. The workshop will be delivered by Faye Cuthbert and Nishat Bharwani, along with the Cambridge radiology faculty. A special thanks to them both for organising the comprehensive gynae content for the Cambridge ASM.
Abstract Submissions for Poster Presentations Reopened
We now have a higher capacity to display poster presentations on the virtual platform, therefore we have reopened abstract submissions. We invite members/trainees to submit an abstract of maximum 250 words via the contact form on the BSUR website. Early deadline is 31st March. There will be prizes available for the top 3 posters.
We thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we have worked to convert the original meeting into a virtual format and we would be really delighted if you could join us.
Yours sincerely,
Amit Patel and Tristan Barrett
