Guided Walk

£3.00 per person, please book this when reserving your meeting place.

A 45-minute lunchtime walking tour, where literary heritage, hidden beauty, and striking architecture await.

We begin by delving into the world of Charles Dickens, exploring the streets he once roamed and gaining insights into his life and works. A short stroll takes us to Woburn Walk, a picturesque Georgian street and a filming location for Bridgerton, where period elegance meets modern-day creativity.

Next, we visit Cartwright Gardens, a tranquil crescent with charming architectural details, before stepping into a secret garden—a serene oasis tucked away from the bustling city streets.

Our journey continues to the striking brutalist architecture of the Brunswick Centre, a Grade II-listed complex that challenges the traditional aesthetic of Bloomsbury with its bold design. We'll learn about the Foundling Museum, the heart of a poignant story of philanthropy and creativity, surrounded by the artistic legacy of Bloomsbury’s past before ending back at the BMA.

This walking tour is perfect for anyone with a love of literature, history, and unique cityscapes, offering a glimpse into the layers of life that make Bloomsbury so special. There is a maximum number of 30 for this session.
