Welcome to the BSUR
First of all I would like to thank you for joining the BSUR, without your membership the BSUR would not exist!
We had a very successful meeting in Leeds in 2014 organised by Dr Mike Weston, with over 110 delegates. This shows that there is significant interest amongst urogenital radiologists to improve their knowledge and meet up with others with similar interests to exchange ideas and learn new techniques.
This website is continuing to grow but does need more content submitted by members. I have uploaded all the talks and posters from our recent meeting onto the site for members only to view. I think this is a valuable resource that will be added to after every meeting. I know that many of you will have excellent educational talks already sitting on your PCs that would be of benefit to your colleagues and trainees. The BSUR would really like to add selected presentations to the website as a teaching resource.
All powerpoint presentations are converted to PDF files and watermarked so they cant be easily copied and will only be viewable by members. You can see the 2014 ASM talks at the following link:
and you can submit any lectures you feel will be helpful by the following link using a dropbox account or by contacting me :
We also have a forum running on the site which has some excellent features where you can:
2 create polls to get votes on a particular issue
3 follow threads so you are emailed when anything is added to the discussion
4 upload images for comment and discussion
Current topics include:
DC prostate MRI poll
renal cancer follow up
So please take part in the discussion via this link to the forum.
We are also working on an image archive of interesting urogenital cases. So please do let me know if you have anything that could be submitted.
The recent meeting also saw some changes to the BSUR committee which can be seen here:
The next ASM is in Liverpool and is kindly being organised by Dr Jane Belfield and her colleagues.
Preliminary details can be found here:
We hope you enjoy the website, let us know if you have any suggestions for improvements.
