The successful applicant will sit on the committee for 2 years and will be expected to attend the BSUR Annual Scientific Meeting, and to submit at least one piece of work as a poster or oral presentation. An active contribution to the BSUR Education Subcommittee and the educational section of the website are expected from the Junior Representative.
The BSUR Committee meets in person at the ASM annually and has several teleconferences throughout the year, discussing running of the society, the Annual Scientific Meeting, workshops at other meetings, and other business relating to Urogenital Radiology. The successful applicant will be expected to partake in the committee meetings and act as a liaison between the society and other junior members.
BSUR has provided funding for prizes at the annual SRT meeting, and the previous Junior Representatives on the committee have helped forge some links between the two societies.
